This policy explains what mokubox processes when you turn a print-ready PDF into a 3D preview.
What stays in your browser
Your PDF, artwork, GLB or OBJ, 3D preview, and downloaded PNG are processed in your browser. We do not automatically upload or store original files, filenames, artwork, models, or page previews. If you change the language, this browser remembers that preference for one year.
What we collect
We collect artwork-free structural and usage data needed to operate and improve recognition: normalized structural lines and panel connections without original physical scale, panel and fold counts, selected candidates, confidence, corrections, result type, processing time, software versions, upload-to-preview steps, PNG downloads, and optional result feedback. We use country-level location derived from the request network address and a non-reversible digest of that address to limit abuse, but do not store the raw address or precise location in our product records. Vercel Web Analytics measures page visits, referrers, country, browser, operating system, and device using a daily anonymous identifier that is not used across days. If the app crashes, we may receive the error message, technical stack, and page path, but not your PDF. Infrastructure providers may process ordinary request logs such as network address, user agent, route, time, and response status.
PDFs you choose to share for improvement
After each analysis, we separately ask whether you want to share the complete PDF with its analysis result. We only receive it after your affirmative choice and use it privately to improve recognition. A random withdrawal receipt is stored in this browser. You may refuse without affecting your result, or withdraw later with that receipt.
Storage, providers, and retention
Vercel processes service API traffic in Washington, D.C. Supabase stores structural data and PDFs shared for improvement in Sydney, Australia; a shared PDF passes through Virginia before storage. Structural and usage data is deleted after 12 months. Consented PDFs are kept for up to 90 days, deleted immediately after withdrawal, and incomplete sharing requests are cleared after 24 hours. Deletion confirmation records are retained for up to 12 months.
Your choices
You can use the core browser tool without an account and refuse original-file sharing. You can withdraw the latest shared improvement PDF while its receipt remains in this browser. You may also contact us to ask about access, correction, deletion, or objection. Some anonymous structural records cannot be linked back to you.
